Banish the Greys: Grey Hair Treatments that Work
Getting grey hairs is a natural sign of aging. But for those who feel that their time of greys has come too soon, it can be awfully stressful. Premature grey hair does sometimes occur for medical or unknown reasons. There are also a few natural hair treatments out there for premature grey hair. Here, we will tell you a few of the most powerful natural substances that you can start using to combat grey hairs. Feel free to use one or all of them at the same time.
Henna
Henna is a fantastic way to treat grey hair. It has been used for hundreds of years in the East. Simply purchase a few packages of henna that match your hair color. Each day, mix up a bit of lemon juice and castor oil. It will begin to froth. Add your henna. Apply it to your head and wrap it in an old towel. Be careful to not get any on your clothing! Leave it for an hour. Then, shampoo and condition as normal. If you do this every day you are sure to see results in only a few days of time.
Olive and Black Seed Oil
Both of these oils, taken together, are also another time tested remedy to combat greys. To use them on your head, mix equal parts of them together. Apply to your hair and scalp and massage in. Wrap your hair in a towel and leave for an hour. Rinse with warm water. Then wash your hair as you regularly would. You should do this every day. Your hair will instantly be more shiny and healthy. After a few weeks, you may even notice more hair follicles growing! Also try ingesting a teaspoon of the black seed oil twice, daily with this treatment.
Amla
Amla is the name for the Indian Gooseberry. The simplest way to prepare amla is to boil it in coconut oil until it turns black. Even if your hair is not black, this treatment will still work for you. Massage this mixture into your hair and scalp. Leave it overnight, if possible. You should also drink a glass of amla juice each day while trying this treatment. Some people see results in as little as two weeks. You can purchase amla, as well as amla juice, online from a variety of retailers both large and small.
