It’s easier to just buy a face pack from a store. But, apart from those complicated recipes, there are some which are very simple and are made out of things you usually already have at home. It is best to make this mask with fresh strawberries, but you can also do it with frozen ones. Of course, unfreeze them first. Take 4-6 good ripe strawberries and place them in a bowl. Mash them with a fork and add 1 tablespoon of low fat yogurt. Mix until you get a smooth paste. Apply this paste to your face, leave it for 10-15 minutes and rinse with warm water.

2. Cucumber and Yogurt Face Pack

We all know that cucumber is great for your skin. It cools inflamed skin down, it reduces those ugly baggies under the eyes and it also helps with oily skin. This mask is said to be able to help you reduce wrinkles, so it is fabulous in every way.
Take half a cucumber and peel it. Put it in a blender and mix until you get a smooth paste. You might need to squeeze the excess water out of this mixture, but only if it is really too thin – that water is great for your skin. Add one tablespoon of skimmed yogurt, mix thoroughly and apply to your face avoiding the area around the eyes. Leave for 15-20 minutes and rinse with warm water.

3. Oatmeal Face Pack

Oatmeal Face mask for oily skin
Oatmeal is yet another substance that is good for oily skin. This mask will help you get rid of that annoying extra shine oily skin has.
You can make this mask with either lemon or cucumber. The other ingredients are one cup of oatmeal and one tablespoon of yogurt. If you’re using cucumber, peel it and if you’re using lemon, squeeze the juice out of it. Put all of the ingredients in a food processor and mix until you get a homogenous paste. Apply to your face, leave for 10 minutes and rinse.
Lemon is actually better for this mask, but some girls tend to be sensitive to it. You can try lemon mask, but if your skin starts to feel itchy or burning, rinse it immediately and next time go with the cucumber mask.

This fabulous homemade face pack for oily skin is actually perfect for tightening your pores. Apply it once a week and watch how your skin becomes clear and beautiful.
Take one apple, peel it, remove the seeds and slice it into wedges. Put the wedges in a food processor and add three tablespoons of organic honey. You can of course use honey from the store, but organic is so much better. Mix until you get a thick paste and apply it to your face. Leave for 15 minutes and rinse. You can also add granulated salt and make it into an exfoliating mask.

5. Avocado and Egg White Face Pack

Avocado face mask for oily skin
Take a really ripe avocado, peel it, remove the pit and mash half of the avocado with a fork. Separate the egg white from the yolk and slightly beat the egg white. You are not making a meringue so just beat it until it is thick enough to smear across your face.
Mix the avocado and the egg white together and apply the mask to your face. Leave for 15-20 minutes and rinse with lukewarm water.
Follow the instructions on how long you can leave a mask on your face for each of these recipes. If you start to feel itchiness or get a burning sensation on your skin, remove the mask at once. Don’t apply a mask more often than once a week. These homemade face packs are really fabulous and easy to make. Try them and tell me did you like them.
