Finding the Right Products to Use
There is tons of eyebrow makeup on the market today, and most women don't even think about using it.
While eye brow makeup is not always a necessity, it can change the way your face looks in certain situations.
Before you turn your cheek to the concept of wearing makeup on your eyebrows, consider some of the options listed below. Follow the makeup advice that follows and you could have a whole new look for yourself.
Eyebrow Pencils
Eyebrow pencils are the most used eyebrow aids on the market. They can add bits of color where hair would naturally be, and for the most part, you can make them look like natural hair with the right techniques.
If you use an eyebrow pencil that is one shade lighter than your actual eyebrows, you will get a much more even look than if you use a darker shade.
There are plenty of colors to choose from out there, so you should not have a hard time finding something to work for you.
Eyebrow Dyes
You can dye your eyebrows if you do not like the color that they are. If you have a hard time getting emphasis to your eyes because you do not have prominent eyebrows, a little dye could work in your favor.
If you are a blond, do not go more than two shades darker than your hair color because your eyebrows will look odd.
Be careful when coloring eyebrows on your on as well because leaving the dye in for too long can easily lead to disaster. It is always better to go too light and then reapply the dye than to go too dark and have a hard time reversing the process.
Eyebrow Bleaches
You can use bleaching products on your eyebrows to lighten them if they are too dark. You should not go any more than two shades lighter than your hair color if that is the case.
As with dyes, you must be careful with timing for eyebrow bleach because it can make a big difference in your results.
Having to do another round of applications is much better than having to redo the dying process altogether.
Eyebrow Brushes
Any color that you put on your eyebrows in the form of pencils or eyebrow powder can be applied with a small brush for a more natural look.
Dab the color onto the thin, tiny eyebrow brush and use it to place the color where it needs to be.
Then brush it out with your fingers to make it look as natural as possible.
