COSMOPOLITAN
It's a glorious day. The birds are chirping. The sun is shining. Your Ray-Bans are slipping down your nose...
So annoying.
Luckily we discovered a quick fix that will keep your sunnies in their rightful place.
What you need: Your sunglasses and any old clear nail polish.
What you do: Lightly dab the clear polish into the hinges of each arm on your frames. No need to get the polish all over the place--simply place a drop on the exact spot where the hinge rotates. Then let it air dry for about five minutes.
Why this works: Over time, sunglass hinges wear out. A loose hinge leads to an even looser fit, which causes sunglasses to slide down your face. The nail polish temporarily tightens the hinges--no tiny screwdriver required.
